Just heard Justin Shearer and Brian Davis wrecked.

Anyone Have any Links -pics- etc.?
Justin sounds kinda serious here.
Bruised lungs
2 crushed vertebrae
Broken collarbone.
The spinal injuries will be the worst, after his lungs
God bless Justin He will need it.
Everywhere I search I can't find much about Chuck. He also involved and totaled his car in the same crash. Anyone know how he's doing ? Say what you will about the show I think the cars are very interesting. I would like to see more burnouts like they used to show.
The cars that run sanctioned racing events are required to pass the sanctioning body tech, whereas (I recently read) those racing the relatively new "No Prep" venue have more relaxed tech requirements to "speed up the inspection process", not saying they aren't well prepared. The no prep races have three classes, separated by tire size, radials only, and are run at one of several tracks on their off days.
i watch it every week and enjoy it . i street raced in my younger days . but unlike the fools in california we raced on country roads. i guess i could watch something more worthy like oh lets say the walking dead ? if you dont like the show dont watch it .
no traffic . we raced on country roads or the industrial district . you risk your life every time you get in one. strip or street . what happened to justin would have been the same on a sanctioned strip. both cars would have been waded up .
Back in the day we had some places to go where there was vey little traffic and there were only a few people there.. Just the racers two or three car loads of witnesses and maybe a couple of girl friends. These days with cell phones, facebook and texting if a couple of guys want to run off there can be a 100 people out there lined up on both sides of the street. Yup we had a wadup or two but it just the drivers. Last one I went to see there were spectators lined up on both side of the street and it looked like a street fair. If anyone had gotten sideways he could have wiped out a whole bunch of folks. Different age out there now compared to what we knew as young'uns...
typical with the tuner bunch. the ones i know do not do the spectator thing. the races are pretty well guarded . not easy to get in the loop . and they race every weekend in every city in the country. always have always will .
i love that show, but jeeze i gotta admit some of the roads they pick have bad spots in them and in a couple a shows i've seen guys hit them and bounce to the left or right and wreck quite often. Best of luck in recovery guys! hE'S my favorite guy with my favorite car in the show, which is my favorite car show. Used to live in OK (near T-town) so like OK too. Esp like the shows where they go down to tejas and beat their Rses. he'll be back. might wanna stick to the track next time tho. wonder if they were filming when they crashed.
I don't like anything that present's itself as reality and yet is obvious half fake. ABC is really good at faking a real news stories too. Journalism has little integrity these days nor do the people watching it demand it. Now this has turned into politics huh?
Anyway, I like when stuff is real and obviously real so I tend to stick to things that actually happened because blurry fake/real stuff is no fun for me. Proper safety gear and practices would go a long way but I get that kinda boring for some people.
i'm a little familiar with these guys . they race a lot down here. until they signed up with the show they raced exactly as they say they did. now the producers get permits and block off roads . thus the big lights . but if you think they can script what happens when you hammer 2k hp you haven't been around hotrodding much.
i'm sure justin planned crashing the first car he ever had. like i said streetracing never stopped or even slowed down . it happens almost every weekend here .
Rumor (From a very good source) around the OKC area that he's already contracted for a new chassis, and will return better than ever.
