K Spray And HVLP Gun?

Today I cut my foam and got ready to spray the K Spray with an HVLP gun using a 1.6m nozzle. The 1.6 mm is the largest available for this unit. The glue was drying up at the nozzle while I was spraying. Is this the result of the warm air produced from the turbine? iIt made it difficult to spay. Would u be better of with a conventional gun?

Yes, the K-Spray is thin enough to spray with a 1.6MM nozzle. I use a Critter sprayer which is a siphon feed sprayer, so you will have no problem with a conventional siphon feed gun.

The HVLP gun should work fine, can you adjust it for air pressure and fluid flow? Is it gravity fed?

All you can adjust is the fluid flow. Here's a link to what I have. I should have taken a picture to show you.

I think the problem is in the warmed air from the turbine, and I think it will be a problem no matter what kind of gun is attached to the turbine, but if I were you, I'd call these people, tell them what you're spraying, and ask them what to do to get the glue to spray better. Try the primer gun, it should have a bigger nozzle than the HVLP gun. Maybe that will help.

I'm thinking the warm air as well.
