K1 VS Scatt

hey i just bought a scat rotating assembly. and i was wondering if there was any need to replace the rods with k1 rods.

if so why. what are the hp limitations of the two?
and what could be the effect of sticking with the scat

Also..."Sid ol' buddy" and no offence meant, but why would you buy a complete rotating assembly thinking that you may have to replace the rods???

1977 chevy 350 block.
im planning on getting afr heads. and a weisser blower.

i bought the rotating assembly, but forgot to mention that i was getting it blown. and the guy wouldnt return it cuz it was a "sspecial order"

Still not enough info, Scat sells many different SBC rods and cranks, for all different power levels. Be specific in everything you have or plan to get.

Never heard of that blower either
