Kaase Mod Motor

Who'da thunk a Ford Mod Motor (even one displacing 409 cid and outrageous as they come) would be the top dog at the
2013 AMSOIL Engine Masters Challenge?

Yep, this piece beat out a wide variety of engines, "including small- and big-block Chevy, Pontiac, Gen III Hemi, Buick, Ford Boss Cleveland (built by a Kaase employee), big-block Mopar and even an AMC" and other Mod Motor Ford based engines (due to a rules change that gave this platform a slight edge) to win it all- something like $66K plus bragging rights for a year. BTW, I believe this makes his 4th or 5th title, all w/Ford based engines.

Supposedly, Kaase hadn't done anything w/the Mod Motor until the new EMC rules came out. Guy's a freaking guru w/FoMoCo stuff.
