Wow, $1995?!!! No I got this kit off ebay a year or so ago.
The seller was a trim shop whose customer didn't show up
for installation, so I got a deal; paid about $350 if I recall.
The leather is soft and supple, but you're right, the seat backs
seem to be vinyl. I had considered having a shop install the
covers, but they are zippered instead of hog-ringed, so I thought
I'd give it a try. The stock covers are zippered too, so it'll be
zip off and zip on.....sounds easy....(famous last words)
