Keeps blowing out my fuse!

Hey All,

For some odd reason everytime I place a fuse in the gauge section of my fuse box it keeps blowing it out. I have stock setup on my 85 swb truck, no heavy stereo equipment.. just a basic cd player and factory 4x10 speakers. I was driving down the street after a drive thru carwash.. and notice my gas hand went down.. alternator gauge hand went down and my oil pressure gauge also. So i get home.. tried to replace the fuse.. and it keeps blowing them out. Where do I begin to solve this irritating issue. I have to watch my temp gauge.. but nothing

If your fuse blows the moment you put it in, you have a dead short in that circuit somewhere........Maybe one of the gauges or sending units has shorted.

I would start looking for shorted wires. This can be a hellish job. Have you done any electrical work on it lately?

find a schematic or owners manual for it. seems to me something else is also wired in that circuit.
