kickdown cable
I just installed a new 575 Speed Demon on my lil ole 305, but now my kickdown cable restricts full throtte. It will only go about 1/2 throttle now. I took it off, so I can modify something to make it work.. Suggestions anyone? Does anyone sell some sort of links to span the needed travel?

You're probably going to have to buy an aftermarket throttle/TV cable bracket. They have an adjustment on the TV cable which will let you move it forward and allow the throttle to open. Most AZ and Advance stores have them.
