kickdown linkage

i have a kickdown linkage for my car, but it was taken out by the guy who had it b4 i did. i just had tranny work done but the tranny shop said i was missing pieces..which i am not, i just think they didnt want to do it. neway, my car seems weaker since they rebuilt the tranny. also it is a brand new 383 big block mopar. i was wondering if its possible that the tranny is not gettin enough pressure or something and tahts why it is slow off the line?? im am runnin a holley 750 with vaccuum secondaries, could it possible be over carbureted? for example when i floor the gas it doesnt sound like its going to stall but its just slow and i cant spin the tires...it just feels weak. ne help would b appreciated. my email is kidmopar66@yahoo.com. thx.
