No different then any other state, except they vary to the amount of cars sold a year before you need a dealers lic.
This is safety related only, like every other state, trans blows, engine blows, its not a safety issue.
Also car must pass emissions tests as in every other state.
Law is NOTHING like you stated for cars over $1500.
YEP, just a good common sense law like every other state has, you don't sell a car if you know the ball joint is ready to fall out.
and if you get taken to court because the engine failed mear hours after the sale, and you tell the judge you knew about the shift issue and did not tell the new buyer.. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT IN COURT
I can tell you first hand that in this state writing sold as is.. is worthless on a bill of sale.. even with the issues written on the b.o.s. court don't care..
