Kit-An Autobody Experience

Has anyone seen this show? It airs on Saturday mornings on Speed Channel at 8:30 AM EST...The last two weeks has highlighted a street rod kit manufacturer based in the Midwest.
I originally heard about this show from this thread:
StreetBeast rod kit's

There's supposed to be one more installment this weekend. Just wondering what everyone's take is on this....

Steve

I think the one on Saturday morning was from a builder in Missouri. I hope that '34 highboy never gets T-boned. The best thing I can say about it is "marginal in a no wind condition".

I've been watching that show a bit. Frankly I'll watch about any show where they work on cars. Not particularly interested in kit cars but wanted to see if they are of decent quality or still kinda cheezy. I kinda liked the Cobra replica and highboy. Anyone see the last car in the series? It's some monstrosity of a sport pickup made from a caprice or some such passenger car. It may be about the ugliest car I've ever seem - rivals the car Homer built for his brother on the Simpsons. It's so bizarre that I almost like it....not for me of course.

I hope the purpose of the show is to take the worst builders and make some kind of drama out of it. No or no quality, cheap junk. The crap I saw built on this show makes my chest hurt.

I actually liked that pick up too, but would have gone about the build in a different way.
