Kitty Hair?

what is this stuff called kitty hair? I heard it was used when making consoles. What exactly is it? And how do I use it?

Have you ever mixed up body filler/bondo? It gets mixed the same way. Spread some out on a scrap piece of something (i use plastic), squirt some catalyst in it (knead catlyst first), then mix thouroughly and apply. It is basically reinforced body filler, with strands of fiberglass mixed in. There are two different strengths, one with short "hairs" and one with longer "hairs." I use the shorter haired stuff, its easier to sand.
