klze

Hi Guys,

I'm new to all of this so bear with me. I am in middle of having an engine (klze curved neck) rebuilt and they are now telling me they need to know the stem valve height to continue. I have looked everywhere and have had no sucess. Does anyone know the stem valve height for a klze engine. Your help is very much appreciated.

Describe a klze engine. If you can find a shop that belongs to AERA (Automotive Engine Rebuilders Assn.). Their spec books contain stem height info.

My only suggestion is call a knowledgeable Mazda dealer and talk to a parts man there.

I have quite a bit of trouble getting build/rebuild specs for foreign car motors.

You should be able to find what you're looking for here:

KLZE Specs

Google is your best friend. You'll find anything if you search hard enough. Fortunately, I just typed "KLZE Specs" and this website was about 4th in line.

Klze was a very awesome powerplant for it's time, and the mx-6 powered ones were pretty quick little buggers back when they came out.
