Knight Rider ..the new TV series

1st of all its sacrilege that they went from a Pontiac to a Ford.

OK in 82 it may have been a Chevy powered Pontiac but still.

2nd they can't make up their mind is a car or a truck ?
just Ford advertising IMO.

3rd seems that Kit used to be a bit more protective of old Mike.

Too much transformers & James Bond wanna Be's.

On the positive side the chics are hot.

Ya know as corny as it sounds, I liked the 'old' knight rider. And to add to the positive, at least they chose an American car for the new show. Or at least somewhat American.

I wonder if they even considered David Hasselhoff for the new show. Muahahaha!

Maybe he kept soiling up the interior with messy cheeseburgers.

I dunno.

Saw a Promo for it last week, and, I am getting a bit fed up with all the phoney computerization, meaning, show me a real car doing real things... Ever notice in many car commercials, one never sees anyone driving the auto... How can that be??? My opinion only, but, give me a couple of Reality shows and you'll keep my attention... Even the movies are loaded with crass computerization. Hope I haven't strayed tooo far from the thread's subject!! T.

they shoulda used a Pontiac GTO (the new ones, Aussie as it may be, I think they at least have standards for safety and modest environmental responsibility (not tree hugging), unlike China and other cheap crap manufacturing places).

The 'stang is pretty wicked looking, even if it is over the top in a gaudy way.

edit: kit is kind of a smartash, I like the old one (from what I've seen) better.
