Knock....? (With video)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VVG-uZXWgo (taken at night, more videos to come)

I was idling at 750 RPM in the video. Motor has about 1000 miles on it.

It is there all the time, cold or warm. It increases speed with RPMs but doesn't change pitch or get louder. Sounds loudest when listening from under the engine. I've listened to the motor all over with a screwdriver to my ear but I can't seem to isolate it. I set lifter preload again but no change.

I'm just wondering if this is recognizable to any of you...

Info on motor;
'98 Vortec block and heads, stock rockers, untouched heads, stock rods, new stock replacement crank

These pistons: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sl...make/chevrolet
These valve springs: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/crn-10309-1 (Made to provide retainer to guide clearance for vortec heads up to.550" lift)

Thanks a bunch.

I think I hear exhaust leaking and of course valve train noise.I think I hear a random thump too? My sound on the computer is not very good.
did you use a cam button? are the converter bolts all tight?

Small block chevy ticking/knocking noise - YouTube
Heres a third longer video.

The cam is Comp cams hydralic roller XR264HR. 110 LSA, .487/.495, 212/218@.050"

This block uses a cam retainer plate so it doesn't use a cam button right?

I'll check the converter bolts.

Pull the belts off and see if it goes away or spray some belt dressing on them into the pulley.

I had the valve covers off just two days ago to set lifter preload again to see if it would help but no difference. None of the lifters seemed to be collapsed or anything. There were no obvious signs of problems, but I guess I should go back and take off the rockers and look at em.

In my opinion it sounds like a lifter but I can't imagine what could go wrong with one (broken/seized roller??) , but I hardly have any experience with engine ticks/knocks.
