know anything about the 79 chrysler 300?

i have a 1979 chrysler 300 special edition. i can't find a whole lot of information about it, but i read a couple of places that this was a special police package (it has the power moon roof and 360 engine). i've heard that it was one of about 500 made, but i've also read a lot more were made. like i said i can't find much info on them, or any price, so if anyone happens to know anything about them i'd love to hear about it, thanks alot!

Hi, I"ve had 2 of them, pretty fast car for the times. It's basically a Cordoba w/t police car goodies. Around 4300 were made, moonroof/t-top cars are pretty rare, especially moonroofers.

Check out www.moparstyle.com, we have a late B body forum. Lots of Magnum and 300 guys there.
