What paint do you guys think that i should go with kustom shop or house of kolor, i know that full blown customs uses kustom shop and they do awesome work, but i can't decide which to go with. and also what is the difference between hok glamour metallics and fine metallics. id appreciate any help

Way back in August you were asking what paint to use. In the last three days you've gone from DuPont to Kirker to Hok or Kustom Shop. It shouldn't be this hard. You'll need to look at a Hok book to see the difference in metallics.

ok, i understand that there are paint supply shops in my area, i just wanted to get some different opinions, and i know what google is. i just wanted to know about the other paints and what people who have used it thought about it, and i have narrowed it down to kustom shop or hok. I really don't see what the big deal is about me getting information online or going to a supply store.

I haven't used Kustom shop yet.and I stress yet because that what my Elco is gonna get sprayed on her so I can try it out. But I have used HOK on many things from cars to bikes and I love it. Good stuff IMHO. I also find is is sometimes the same or cheaper than the regular stuff that the paint manufacturers like PPG or Dupont are pushin. I do see that the Kustom shops stuff seems cheeper to buy though. I am plannin on the Hot Rod Flaz line.

Are you looking for wild colors?

If not, just go with DuPont Chromabase or ChromaPremier.

Only know my Camaro is being painted in HOK, Tangelo Pearl and Passion Pearl I think the names are, can't remember the codes. Nitrous Bottles came out pretty nice. This is in the garage, but when the sun hits the orange, it's like "BAM"....

[BST Kustoms]

I have sprayed with Ed Hubbs the creator of Full Blown Kustoms he was sought after by Kustom shop to do a couple of videos. He no longer endorses the use of Kustom shop and never really used there products beyond making a few videos. He only uses house of kolor and has won the house of kolor prestigious painter award several times. He is also sponsored by iwata but has used Sata in the past.
