Kustom Shop's black cherry kandy over black diamond metallic for dark reddish-black?

hey guys, im getting ready to paint my ride and had a couple questions about my paint, im planning on using Kustom shop paint from tcpglobal.com... dont hate on me, iv used it several times, and its came out awesome everytime, no issues at all... so i know what im usin aint the best but works for me. but i paint a truck a while back with black diamond metallic, and am now looking for a really deep dark redish black look and was wondering if anyone had pics or experience with spraying Kustom shop's black cherry kandy over the black diamond metallic. The black diamond looks almost black in the shade and at night with just a hint of metallic, and has a dark grayish silver with nice metallic flake in the sun. would this be too dark to paint a kandy over?? i jut want a hint of red, not a lot at all, but a really really dark deep look to it. any info would be appreciated, Thanks.

get an old fender and try it. That's what we all do when experimenting with new ideas.

I'd definitely want to see how it turns out if you try it!

Bad News... If you are looking for the "HOK Black Diamond Metajules"... they were dsicontinued about a year ago. I just bought a new catalogue, and it lists them, but they are not actually available. You would have to find a can here and there. I am going through that right now for a different shade.

I have gotten two stories.... A plant in Japan was shut down for environmental issues... and that there was a plant in Mississippi that was destroyed by Katrina. I don't know what the truth is... but the result is the same.

I think a black base with ice pearl and red candy might do it for you.
