I have had a Kwiklift since 2000. I use it everyday to park one of my cars upon. A four poster will take up your entire garage, as it has to be wider than car. Be sure to buy it with the Bridge, which goes between runners. You will love having it in your garage. I talk to Danny at every show and he is a great guy.... DAVE

Well when I'm under it working I feel secure. The only thing that worrys me is that rear bar falling off of the jack. I know it shouldn't if it is jacked properly but it still seems like it could very easily.

But for the limited celing height and space I have it is a good product. If I had anymore space thought I'd have a 4 or 2 post lift maybe both

Jack has to stay under the bar ?

With the Kwik Lift, does the jack have to stay under the black bar at all times when a car is on the lift ?

If you mean the large bar near the rear of the lift, no, the jack does not remain under it. There are legs which fold down and snap in place on each ramp and then the jack can be removed.
