L-82 Vette Engine
I thought a few months ago when I sold my 67 Camaro that I would never have to deal with one of those ugly orange engines again. A couple of days ago my wife bought a tired 76 L82 4 speed vette. (wants it to be her most of the time driver), with as many ponies as can be fed with pump gas normally aspirated, no Nitrous. Is the L82 version a good starting point? I'm guessing that decent heads, 10:1, dual plane manifold, better flowing exhaust, and a mild cam should put this in the 325HP range and still be streetable.
Come on bow tie boys, am I expecting too much?
Matching numbers, so a crate motor is out of the question.
