L88, Forged Crank Question

Hey there, Help Please
I packed up a L88, 427 forged crank, 5140 cross-drilled, chamfered
journels...nice heavy crank.
My question is there was a blower balancer on it and I am going back
to OE. The crank was machined out from 1/8" key to 1/4" key for the blower.
The timing gear ket is still good to go. Basically what I am looking for is a "stepped key" one that is 1/4" to 1/8". Does anyone know where a guy could
buy one, or do I have to make it?

Try contacting BDS or some other company that sells blower kits and accessories, they should be able to help you!

Just get your balancer broached for the 1/4 inch key, it is stronger anyway. Very simple 5 min task..

The step keys are available from Applied insustrial but they are a bandaide.
