L98 TPI wiring harness

Hi everyone,

The wiring harness was butchered when the motor and trans was removed from whatever it was in.
The guy said it came out of a 91 corvette that was wrecked.
I don't think the heads are aluminium. They are painted black. The motor could be out of a camaro, or firebird, or police vehicle, or a truck.

From the block numbers (14093638) it is anywhere from 1987 to 1991.

I found a complete wiring harness that is on a 1990 Buick Park Avenue. It has a SBC with multiport injection.

Will the harness work on TPI?

This one should have been in the electrical section.

hi there,

14093638 is just a generic regular old roller 350 block but probably wont have a roller cam in it especially if its a truck one. you cant know for sure unless you take it some of the way apart.

parklane is not a valid vehicle model

if you wish to find out anything more specific about this engine/blobk then just get the suffix stamping code off the front of the block just in front of the cylinder head on the pass side.
is a flat pad there off the front of the engine deck there, and the code will be stamped into it there.
it is almost always three capitalized letters and this will tell you the year make model and hp etc.
sometimes there are more than one applications listed for a single code. and so then you have to use the casting date or something else to determine which one it actually is.

good luck!

So you don't know if a 1991 Chevy TPI engine will work with a 1990 Buick MFI wiring harness?
