I have a dumb question for you guys, how can you tell if the threads are left or right hand on the ends? I plan to buy new bushings .

Not a dumb question at all Jerry. Looking at the threads like you see them in this attached pic, no matter whether the end of the threads is toward you or away from you, if the threads go from southwest to northeast, then it is right hand thread. If the threads go from southeast to northwest, then it is left hand thread. I just used this pic because it was the best one to go along with my explanation.
