When you make this kind of conversion, it's pretty much a given that custom fabrication will be in order. Is this a (designed) pre-built kit or are you using randomly chosen parts?

Competition style Ladder Bars or a 4-link are going to require some floor pan modifications for clearance to get everything to fit, neither will fit under a totally stock floor pan.
If you don't want to modify the stock floor, a Cal-Trac bar set-up with the correct leaf spring will hook just as good as Ladders. Check them out. A 24-25" ladder bar is going to have too short an instant center to work effectively. |
