Ladder bars and leaf spring

Okay so I have been digging into my s10 deeper and deeper and I had a buddy of mine come over who has a lot more experience than I about suspension setups and he noticed something with my s10. I have a 9" ford differential in my s10 with ladder bars and leaf springs. He explained I need to have pivoting housing mounts where the differential bolts to the leaf springs due to the fact that when the rearend loads the leaf springs go on an x and y axis where as the ladder bars pivot on an arc around where they bolt to the chassis. Is it something like this I need? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CEE-2033/
Thanks!

I talked to the guy I had the s10 from and he drove it down the track many times but had issues getting it to launch with 14x32 slicks. Could this explain his issues?

The Summit kit is what you need. Verify axle tube diameter.
The Comp Engineering site explains the issue with floating mounts.
