Large Journal 327

I've searched plenty of info off the net and still I can't find my answer.

What do I gain by putting a 327 L J into a 350 4-bolt main block? Besides a 327 4-bolt main.

What are the advantages? If any?

L J 327

There are no advantages to using a 327 crank accept you can say you have a 327 instead of a 350. I have a 327 L J in my coupe and it runs fine. It's no world beater but it's pretty good...I have yet to do any changes to the engine but I have some plans......GlennK
