large, or small hub?

im gonna order my posi tomorrow and i noticed eaton sells a large hub and a small hub version. its a 74' Camaro GM 8.5 inch 10 bolt. so my question is is there a signifigant advantage to one or the other? and secondly what size would the stock carrier be.
any info is much appreciated.
