late model engines

This forum seemed best for the question. Lately Ive been reading on a lot of late model engine builds and have been noticing a whole list of GM engine blocks in the late model vehicles
LS1, LQ4, LS6 and so on. I am curious if there is any kind of chart that lists the engine options for the late model GM vehicles or somewhere I could get the information to compile my own list.

Don't rule out the LT1's, they made good power and torque and swap in a little easier than the LS style engines and after market hop up parts are WAY cheaper.

I'm in the middle of an lt1 build, and they're great engines, but I wouldn't say they're cheaper. Up to about 500hp a gen1 engine is the cheap route, after that you're better off going gen 3/4 the gen 2 (lt1) engines are great for 400-450 hp builds, after that they require too much to be cost effective.
