Latest progress on 68 442 convertible

If anyone remembers the earlier pics on this very rusted out 442, here is some pics on the painted underside after some serious hours of labor. Will post more pics as I go.

Looks good. Is that the final under body color or are you going over it with something else? I know a lot of the guys are starting to use bedliner which seems like a good idea once you have it primed well for corrosion.

Yes this is the final base clear color of the bottom (saffron yellow). Would not even dream of spraying bedliner under this one as the hours of bodywork on the underside of this car would be counter productive. Although it sure would have saved on worn out finger tips!!

Will keep the pics coming, trying to wrap up a couple other jobs before I get back at this one. Body is all painted, will start cutting and buffing it on the rotissurie then get it ready to go back on the chassis.
