Latest project

My latest project is a 1937 Studebaker coupe express pick up. It is a resto-rod and the body is almost stock, although much had to be made. The power and suspension are from a 1985 Mustang SVO. The engine modifications, aside from the turbo, should produce about 300+ rear wheel horse power. I hope to have it on the road this spring.

Latest Project

Thanks! I look forward to have it done. I've working on it for too many years.

It is being done the old way without the extensive use of a credit card.

I'll bet you'll have a lot of fun driving around in Studebaker's first pickup.

Sad news

Guys: This is not carguy68. This is his son. I was going through the e-mails and saw this thread. Thank you for welcoming him to the group. Unfortunately, while working on the 37 Studebaker, the truck slipped off the jackstands and killled him. If you had had more time with him on the site, you would have found him a amazing resource. He did most everything himself. Old school and really good at it. If I finish the project he loved so dearly, I will join and post pics of him and his work.
Best regards, Jeff Lange jeff.lange@langetech.net

Jeff,
I know that he died doing what he loved to do, but it ended too soon! My condolences, and I hope you can finish his project, for your DAD!

Bill
