Laugh of the day... Gas leaf blower turbo + NOS

I always wondered how much boost you could make with a gas leaf blower.... almost makes me wish I had an old field car to play around with.

What we going to do on are lunch hour!
Just go's to show you don't need to have 5,000 dollar to go fast. Just a trip to Grainger and some CFM math HEHEHE!
I'm up for some Red Neck racing parts How about you!

Lets see 1 leaf blower remove gas engine make mounting brackets pulleys and there you go.
Cost may be 300.00 Hmmm!
I could start lowbuck racing parts. I will make a lot of money HEHEHE!
Anyone want to invest?

Craig

Cheap HP

Back in the 60's when I turned wrenches for the US Army a lot of Duece and a half trucks had turbo's maybe you could buy them from military surplus and adapt them or use a Black&Decker leaf blower(215mph flow)and a 12volt to 110 converter that way you can go green and be politically correct

I tore one apart last summer thinking the same thing but the whole end is just part of the crankshaft and it would have to machine off the engine stuff and build a support bearing. Why not just run the bolwer engine and hook the throttles together so it revs with the big engine, maybe a lead in to cure lag.

make a little jet engine out of them. I've seen youtube vids of these things, and one on a gokart before.

Buy an electric leaf blower (cheaper) and discard the electric motor.
Fab up some brackets and mount a pulley. Add a little chunk of dryer hose, duct taped to the air intake...

An' BAM! Ya got yerself one-a them there "paxton" blowers right cheer. chee-yuk-yuk-yuk.
