Lazer Dry Update

a few years ago I painted my car with A basecoat system called "Lazer Dry"
It's a product that claims to make a enamel into a basecoat.
3 yrs later it began to fail and most told me I did something wrong.
The mfg of Lazer Dry told me that their product could be used with any
acrylic enamel and so I did use a different brand of enamel.
I was roasted on this forum by a few, so when I redid all the
horizontal panels (they were the worst) I made sure I went by the
instructions, useing activator in the enamel, waiting long flash times and
useing a good clear on top. I sold the car after painting it.
It's now 2 yrs later, it's doing the same thing.
First it starts turning dark, then it peels.
Don't use Lazer Dry

Looks like DelClear when it was applied to thick, to thin, or just right -junk.

Well, it wasn't the clear.
The clear is one I have used for almost 10 yrs,
without any other problems.

Why does the roof still look good????

Hows chances of you shaving me three at least three inches in Dia with base and clear.
Will do a few tests but will not post them here as it would be for your info only.

The look and the time period lead me to think, not enough mils left on clear after buffing, normally when caused by lack of mils it takes right at two years to blow up.

I was not suggesting the product you used was DelClear, just that it performed as well .
