Lead Based Primer
So it's *finally* cooling down a little and I'm back at paint/rust removal on my 47 Stylemaster.
I keep running across these tough patches of primer. I'm assuming it's lead based due to the age of the car. The thing is, I believe the devil himself worked at the Chevy factory and applied this primer...I can't get it off! I've tried sandblasting, chemical strippers and DA sanders. For the most part I've gotten it all down to bare metal except for these patches I keep running across in varying sizes. My question is, should I just leave them be and accept defeat? I'm planning on shooting the thing soon with epoxy primer. It's nice that the primer is orange...that made the whole issue of trying to remove rust real fun!

Paint....
Hi,if that paint is hard,and smooth,i would spray 2 or 3 coats of a 2K primer over it.
