So, my 98 F150 isn't a hotrod, but it tows my cars so I think it counts
Can someone help me out here? I broke a leaf on the left rear spring. I didn't even hit a bump, it just broke in half
In a perfect world, I would spend the time and shop for slightly stiffer aftermarket new springs OR get stock replacements and some helper air bags, but in the interest of time and money I'm just going to get some used springs.
... But... they come in codes A through P. Are they GVW codes? Spring rate codes? Are the stock springs stamped with the code I have? Ideally I'd like to get springs from an F250 light duty (the funky 7-lug trucks) for a little more trailer control.
Any education would be appreciated.
