Leaking Mallory Promaster coils

Hey guys,

I will be re-doing the top end of my SBC soon and in my collecting of parts I decided to replace the accel coil with the big Mallory Promaster cube ignition coil.

I hopped online and ordered a part #29625, it sounded like the best option for my set up. Higher reving Small Block with a CD ignition.

I received the coil and it was leaking oil from the bottom "fill plate" (I assume). I let the company know and they were quick to send me out another coil, the 2nd one is also leaking. This time from where the two halves of the plastic case come together.

Are these coils known to seep oil? Shall I try a third one, or attempt to seal one of them and replace it's oil? Is it even possible to get ignition coil oil? I've had great luck using Mallory ignition parts on past builds and I'd like the use this coil on my current project.

Thanks guys. Cheers ~Mykk
