My 85 monte leaks water onto the pass. floormat during heavy rainfall. The car is pretty much rust free.
has anyone else had this problem?
If so, how did you fix it?

Most G -Bodies From 1978-1988 Will do this.....................
Cutlass ,Regal,Monte,Malibu,Lemans
My Malibu did it and the one i had before that did it.
U can take glass out and re -seal it.(The Right Way)
Or if u do not want to go that way.
I used clear sealant ( A little )dont go crazy or it will look like ******* On the top and side corners of the glass between body and trim piece and it stopped it from leaking wetting my pass side floor. and u cant tell because it was done neatly.
Water always seeks its own level and my pass side floor was not where i wanted it at..........

It's not leaking around the widnshield, It's leaking forward of the glove box.

It is probably leaking where it connects to the firewall. The assembly comes out in one piece and can be resealed. see pic.

It's probably the windshield. My dad's GMC Diablo leaks like crazy. I always refer to it as the pond in the foot well after it rains. Anyway, my Elky does it to a lt lesser extent. If the floor is mostly shot, (like the diablo) drill a coulple of drainage holes in the rear foot well.
