My torque converter, I just bought, has been sitting in my basement for the last 2 months with a cap on the shaft. I went down there and saw a small puddle on the inside rim of the converter around the shaft, where it makes a bowl shape. When I take the cap off, I can see fluid just sitting inside there. Someone told me that the converter is pressurized to 50 lbs and it'll leak out when the weather changes??? What's going on here, and do I have to pour more fluid into it and 'pressurize it'? Not much leaked out, like a 1 cm deep puddle. Let me know what you guys think, thanks!
What should you do? Slap the guy that fed you a line like that :spank: They can't pressurize them if there ain't no air fitting :nono:
