hi everyone. I'm Olga and have been sewing for a couple of years now. Began the hobby trying to make something for my baby and have been getting better learning from my mistakes, reading and watching videos. I have made dresses, pants for my daughter and for myself. I started with an old singer facilita intelligent 974 that one of my friends wanted to get rid of and I was the lucky one to get it, I got from my husband few months ago a brother 1134DW serger (now that I have it I wish I had asked for a coverstitch one) and now that I started to make Dora the explorer backpacks to give to all the kids coming next month for my daughters birthday I am having sooo much troubles with the sewing machine that my husband has suggested maybe he should get me an industrial one for heavy fabric (few layers of fleece, few layers of denim). I don't need a super fast machine cause I am not a pro yet, just wish to get something that won't start making weird noises when I put two or three layers of fleece or denim that I do hope to make something at some point and lots of fleece crafts for my daughter. I have read some of the reviews from this site and got very happy to find the knowledge shared and was hoping to get a bit of help myself. thank you so much for letting me participate and learn from you.
