The leather is shiny because it's an exact match to my original stuff. It took me a while to find this stuff. I have been handed all sorts of bull****en about what the original stuff looked like. I am an expert on this particular car and have owned my current one for about 20 years. i also have a few sets of seats laying around specifically for that car and all have the factory leather that looks just like this stuff. So when I judge at the national show, it better look like this or you'll get a point deduction. But keep in mind that it's probably shiner in the picture than in real life. I'm going to call these guys up and tell them they have a problem. But what do you think they did? Cut out an imperfection? I'll tell ya, I know nothing about leather. But this is the first one I ever saw with something like this.
