Here's the rear seat out of a '70 Cutlass which should be the same as yours. The seat foam was in great condition. I didn't notice any problem with how it sat, but you may want to connect all the springs from side to side in two places with stake wire to stiffen it a bit. (I always sit on a seat before I upholster it to see how it sits) Also the top of the front bucket. The white fabric and yellow welts are just plain vinyl, the black inserts are Alcantra imitation suede. The yellow stitching is #92 polyester. Not my cup of tea, but the customer loved it.
No one lives forever, the trick is creating something that will.
