Turbo-350's come in different lengths. Here's a chart: http://tciauto.com/tech_info/trans_dims.htm

http://www.paceparts.com/index.asp?P...=Custom&ID=586 has engine dimensions, although http://www.carnut.com/specs/engdim.html shows different numbers.

Thank you.

Thank you both for your help. that info will help.
And the powertrain is going into a '66 Dart, by the way... backwards. I've cut the rear seat area and trunk floor out and have welded up a new rear subframe, kinda like a '60's style altered wheelbase funny car. I'll mount the engine as far back as possible, with the trans. and transfer case facing the front of the car. I'll use the front axle drive yoke on the transfer case to drive the rear end (thru a VERY short driveshaft). A few hard coolant lines, new fuel lines, and a Moon tank, and it should be doin' wheelies in no time.

I'll post pictures when it's done.

...I haven't worked thru the rotations of all those parts yet, though. Wonder if i'll have to flip the rear end end-for-end to get it to move in the right direction in Drive.
