Nice 55,Ive always been a sucker for the sedans.
If my wife ever remembers where she put my pictures and discs Ill try and post some 55 pictures.

Thanks for the look or drool; I have had several reply's to the pictures but no one has replied with anything about putting coilovers on the 55 chevy, should I use big block springs on the coil overs to hold it up or should I use stock springs that have been shortened 2 inches and use a coilover shock????

That would be OK but how would it ride, "LIKE A WAGON".

actually the handling is much improved with air ride and theres also a ton of upgraded suspension stuff out there for 55-57 ..The lower you go the better it handles...but you cant there by cutting the springs (god no) dropped spindles or a body drop is the way to go...Theres a few other ways for a tight budget like cutting out the spring cups in the control arms and adding a couple inches to them so the spring sits lower in them and the control arm travel stays the same...You should never cut a spring ,ever
