lesonal epoxy

just wanted to hear your opinoins on this stuff reason im asking is i phoned about a few places and they wont send me epoxy primer by air mail spi etc so i asked my paint supplier to see what he could get and he came back with lesonal this is the product info http://www.hex.co.uk/tds/Lesonal/Tec...Primer_TDS.pdf i will be using this on bare metal on my show van that i am building i have already taken it down to metal and sanded it with 80 grit would this still be ok ? is it a good product ? thanks

never heard of it or anyone who has said they have used it, and I've been paying attention too so ...yeah probably one of the best right?

These guys are in the UK and they have a good product...the stuff we get from the Us dist is good.. Sam

pro spray is actually the cheap std stuff around here lol are most epoxys the same eg good for bare metal as a starting base ? many thanks always used etch before and just here you guys going on about epoxy so i want to try it lol

The reason I like epoxy is that most resto projects are long term and I have parts here painted with epoxy 2 or 3 years ago and no rust yet..some of them got left out in the rain..
  but all I need to do is scuff them and put on a finish coat..I cannot say that for the conventional collision shop primers..Have to check wit prospray to see if theirs is DTM..Sam

wow just got it from the shop today for 3l of epoxy + hardner+ thinners
£70 what a steel
