Post lesson learnd

i put a carb spacer on my edelbrock intake the carb bolts werent long enough so i went to my local home depot and got four bolts not knowing the strength of theses bolts just bought cheepys .so when i put these ****y bolts in one snaped off flush with my intake whith very little torq now whats the simple way of getting this bolt out without messing up my intake??

You could try something like the Craftsman Screw-Out thing that they are always advertising.....

the tool you are looking for is an easy out. man I feel sorry for you. Be carefull or remove the intake. When you use one of these tools you first have to drill a hole in the bolt that you were using and there will be alot of metal shavings all over the place. have fun <img src="graemlins/crash.gif" border="0" alt="[crash]" />

Here's the easy way.....tape over the intake opening. Use a drimmel to cut a groove in the bolt shank. Use a flat head screwdriver to back it out.
