So I was going out today to get some gas for the '50 (guess who's getting his insurance/tags/registration tomorow ) and this is what I came upon...

an aproximately 2 hour wait to fill up gas You guys have no idea how lucky you are with your gas prices, Canada is paying WAY more than you guys. Fortunately I had my camera with and I snapped some pics...these cars are NOT moving, they're in a long long lineup to fill up before the price jumps to almost double tomorow.

I didnt end up getting gas, but rather I went home very frustrated...(cause the '50 wont get much better than 11 miles/gallon)

They were squawking all day how the gas was going to over $2/litre. It's past midnight now and it's still $1.04/litre, not that that is cheap...............I think someone is trying to con us.

And yet I got 15 Gallons (19 gallon tank) for my truck at $2.64 couple days before all this happened? . Had to wait in line like 20 minutes but that was it. And that looks kinda like houston traffic which is part of why I'm still here,lol.

Thanks for posting that Mike, I wasn't aware of that rumour. Just came in from filling up. Had a 7cents off coupon and didn't realize I had 55.985 liters. The guy wouldn't round it off to 56!! Something about the gas counting machine won't round it off. As if. Whatever. Stupid Domo.

if 1 gallon of gas is equal to 3.79 liters
and Canada is paying 2$ a liter.
then they are paying 7.50 a gallon?
eeeeeeeeessssh. I think the Canadians have every right to tell US to stop whining about gas!!

Around here the gas stayed at $1.04/litre......there was some gouging by some stations, but mostly stayed steady. I think the rumour was spread to force prices up even higher than they are.

please correct me i thought there was 5 liters in a imperial gallon again im confused

OK i kinda figured that when i started driving 1982 that gas would go up some
so in 20 years it doubled OK was some what OK whit this but in the last 2 years its more than doubled again

there is got to be something we can do to protest this

also the minimum wage was close to behind a few years ago what about now ?
I know that according to some statistics that we should be paying more but this is really killing us bottom people

I hear well time to get a new vehicle how can anyone do that when we are making some Saudi's yacht payment

Actually, an Imperial gallon is 4.54 litres and an American gallon is 3.78 litres.

Havn't you heard?

Our so called "Free" medical has been going for a crap lately....................because of abuse by many. Long waits for MIRs etc....a lot of people are going to the US for them.....out of their own pockets.

I heard that with the amount of our tax dollars that go towards things related to oil we are really paying between $5-6 a gallon.

thats just something I heard on NPR.
