I've been slacking off some and need to get started again. I got the engine in over the winter and finally got the Holley back from my carb guy. I discovered that I need to get the exhaust run before I mount the fuel filter and bend up the hard lines. It's easier to get the fuel lines out of the way than the pipes.

Here's what I'm building at the moment. Just finished the rolling chassis this week. 2x3 tube frame, F-150 twin I-Beam front suspension with traverse mounted quarter elliptical springs front and rear (cut down from F-150 semi-elliptical rear springs). Dana 44 rear, 302 Ford with 3 speed tranny.

Hopefully the body fabrication will begin next week. I'm going for a sedan/delivery style but downsized from stock. Also, rear axle moved outboard. Here's a sketch of what I'm shooting for.

Man, the only thing you need to do to that Vette is never get rid of it and smile everytime you drive it.
