Im trying to get this snap on chest.. Its an older one.. for like $250-$300 filled with some tools..

here is my box.
it is a blue-point with snap-on side boxes. when i bought the box ($1,000) a friend had the side boxes that he was selling for $200 and i wanted the to match so i ordered some snap-on logos from snap-on and cloned my box. looks good, as if it came like that.

my tools are mostly snap-on, matco and mac, but i have some crapsman and dewalt ect.

total cost around $10,000, but still need much much more for it to even be close to a "complete" set.

oh yea, and a matco tool cart somewhat seen in pic.

It's got a lot of miles on her and has been substancially reinforced with square tubing where you can't see it. Total weight 900 pds.

Standard Beech box, total cost for top and bottom $250. Stickers attached from all the jobs I was on...priceless.

Well I don't have any close-ups of my box but I took this picture while I was working on my car afterhours. My box is a MAC TOOLS top and bottom rollaway which you can kind of see in front of my car. It is the next size down from a Macsimizer which is MAC TOOLS ultimate box. I bought it used thanks to a guy who was going out of business.

Maybe i should just get some craftsman tools in a small tool box for now

Remarkable picture, the toolbox drawers are closed, normally they spew tools from the last job.

I think the true story is not the tool box but all that surrounds your box malc . My area at work is kept clean because it is shop policy and also organization helps to improve repair times to an extent but my garage at home isn't doing nearly as well.

It´s embarrasing I know, I chase my own tail cleaning it up.
It´s a gallon in a pint pot, when I get a decent day I open the garage doors and take it all out and put it back tidy.What you see is only a small part.
We got a freezer on the porch and a washing machine that came here from one of the apartments we rent out.
We´re Spanish rednecks I suppose!
It is planned to make a parking area on the other side of the house and build something that will get my stuff out of this garage.
You do know the minute you throw something out you´ll need it.
Now I got a set of Camaro seats going begging, just where do I put it all?
Edit: I promise I will do a blitzkrieg on it tomorrow.

Nothing fancy schmancy here, just basic tools. Most of my stuff came from my dad, so its about 50 years old. I bought the tool boxes at least 26 years ago, soon after I got "hitched". Note, the "No Help Wanted" sign.....


I also have a manual tire machine, that the local high school was throwing out (I think, it was outside....lol)


I get a lot done in my 2 car garage.

This are the boxes (4) that 38 special operates out of. Clean, nice neat(well almost). Unlike the rest of my garage.

The Craftsman boxes are definitely worth the price. My boxes at home are Craftsman and they even come with roller bearing slides now. The bearing slides really are nice when you wieght down the drawers. If you catch a sale weekend at your local Sears you could probably score a nice deal.
