Lever Shock is in the way!
If I have lever shocks, that is the whole upper A arm is a shock absorber unit.... and if this thing is directly above my coil spring... and if I want to weld in shock mounts for the normal run of the mill b-flat average every day type shock... where the heck can I put the upper shock mount when the lever shock sits there like a big lump? Where else does a shock go except inside the coil spring? Anybody? Anybody?
This 39 Pontiac front end is not easy to replace with MSII, have to use sub frame and the only guys who make them are Fat Man.
AND! Here's another question for all you expert front end guys! My A arms are huge, very long. But MSII A arms are not. So does this not indicate my car will tend to roll much more during turns? Suppose MSII A arms short, anti-sway bar is same on both front ends. "All things being equal" as they say, wouldn't the MSII shorter A arms be preferable for modern roads (mostly paved) and higher speeds (less unsprung weight).
Thanks for your time you guys, your posts have been and continue to be a great source of information and inspiration!
