Hey Y'all

I bought a Lexmark X 3350 3 in 1 printer /scanner /copier MONTH'S AGO
OK here is my problem

On the main page for using the scanner & everything this POS does has no restore button!

So I have my resolution up so I can see everything better {with out my glasses on}
Plus I have a 19" LCD screen so every thing works fine on every page on every site & every window every where except this DAMN printer

Ive reinstalled it 4 times no change

Ive been calling Lex mark for 3 , 4 , maybe 5 months? i dunno they keep giving me a run around Ive given them the final ultimatum fix it or refund/up grade me a working one

In order to use it I literally have to grab the top of the screen& slide it over to get to the button I need to click!!!

The whole purpose of windows is to make them any size I want

Any one else have this printer or these problems??

I love buying brand new junk help me before I pump 7 rounds of OO buck into it!!

I think I'm understanding what you mean, the resolution is up to make your icons bigger, which makes the window bigger than your available screen space.

Generally, if you hover your mouse at the edge line of the window, it will
change from a pointer to two arrows pointing each way, hold down left mouse button and drag the window in to the size you require.

This won't alter the size of your icons though, and you may find you still have to scroll right and left to see them

The only real answer is to reduce your resolution.

I also bought a Lexmark all-in-one including fax. After about two days it wouldn't turn on. I had to turn it UPSIDE down to get it to work. Needless to say, I took it back and got a all-in-one HP(2110) and it's great.

Nope my screen & everything works fine with the resolution up its this one screen in the printers page this is perfect I can make it bigger smaller or just right .

notice there is NO restore button highlighted? thay means I can not manipulate the screen to ANY size

see how 1/2 the screen gone well there are no slide bars to be able to use it

plus it sometimes powers up for no reason! scary the poopy oyr of you @ 3 am

Have had nothing but issues with a lexmark all in one my mother had. This one would just drop off and stop working then come back for no reason. Replaced usb cables, and even did it on two different machines. It would work maybe a month then another trip up and mess with it for hours reinstalling drivers etc till it finally worked.. When the printers they make cost less than 2 ink cartridges.... Well you get my point. I also have a Lexmark printer, which never loads a paper quite strait... I will not buy another.

Exactly !! Theres gonna be some steppin & fetchin over in INDIA or where ever the farm the tech support to Today !

If I do pluggit with the OO buck I'll still ship it back to em after I'm done

No I haven't ever watched that but ill look for it.

well after call them back again & talking to Sean he's the highest up person in India I guess
keeps wanting to get me to change my resolution!

I told him that everything on the INTERNET works just fine except your program ''well if you would just change it...no exaggeration a dozen times
finally I said where are you INDIA? ''yes'' so stand on your head so you can see it right,If the chair was made upside down would they expect you to sit on your head?

I purposely bought a 19" lcd screen so I can use my PC @ a lower resolution to make everything bigger I should not have to cange my resolution to make your printer work
ive talk to cust service sean,george,jerry,ryan& gotten no where in order to use this I must grab the screen & move it because I can NOT see at least 1/3 of the screen changing the resolution or not
The whol premise of windows is to make them any size you want

YOU HAVE A PROGRAMMING ISSUE WITH THIS MACHINE PLEASE FIX IT OR REFUND MY MONEY Thanks for sending all my problems to INDIA where they don't understand english

hi guys, i have lexmark printer problems..brand new printer wont setup from the disc new usb cable.....next printer will not be a lexMARK. maybe ill exchange it for a ....HP...probably

Try this, Go to the Lexmart Site and go to the Driver download section, look up the proper Driver for your Printer/Scanner and your OS..Download that, and install it..

A lot of times they have compatibility issues with packaged software, and don't like to make it public..(like saying "oops!) And write a new driver to CYA..

If that doesn't help, then glue antlers to it, give it a 100 yard lead and start pluggin'...

Just change your resolution, the one you are using is ancient and no one uses it anymore, therefore programs aren't designed for it. If you can't see things simply change the size of everything in all the settings and if it still isn't big enough get a new monitor... Otherwise you will continue to have these problems with software.

Chevy thunder Even if I put the resolution back it still doesn't fit on the screen

I have a 19" LCD screen so I could down the resolution so I could see it without squinting even if I had a 6 foot screen it still wouldn't fit

UGH I love brand new JUNK just the fact its junk & never been abused before is so spacial

I'm extremely happy with everything except the printer's restore button everything is BIG & Readable & my eyes & face don't hurt from squinting

Look @ the screen shot the button dont work it cant be highlighted it cant be accessed by the tool bar nuthin nada damn thing!!!

Dose anyone have a program without a restore button?

I know some screens dont give you the option but its there I can see it it just don't work!

the next one I get they will take it out of the box & fire it up right there & Just to piss them off Ill make them box it up just like the factory

{you know you never get it all back in the box }!!!

The button was disabled by the programming. The last time I had this happen was on windows 98 and the resolution thing fixed it. hmmmmmm If you haven't tried restarting (which you probably have) it tends to fix stuff like that.... I used to have a programming tool that was good for hacking the buttons on programs like this.. (you could enable/disable scroll bars, buttons, etc, basically anything with the windows style frame around it)
