Lift Kits

I want to jack up the back end of my 1981 Camaro Z28 and there two different kinds. A suspension lift kit and a body lift kit. Which is better?

ok one you cant use a body lift two it depends on what type of suspension it has i cant exatly remember so here it goes if it has leaf springs you could use a longer shackel or spring block if you have coil springs you can use a poly urathe spring spacer you will allso need to extend youre shock mounts

'81 Camaro=leaf springs. Shackles, the cheapest way to do it. If you're really ambitious, you can have the rear springs re-arched at a spring shop for a few bucks.

Looked at the picture in your album....I think it sits just right. If you lift the back end, it will affect the handling and ride.

Nice looking car by the way... Did you buy it that way or build it?
