Isnt it funny how people sit around bashing one manufactuers product or another,but some of these parts are all made in the same place by the same people{and they arent the ones with their name on the box either}.With that siad,I have a funny story that throws it all in the face of the naysayers.When I was having problems with my new bigblock{it kept cracking the ylinder head on hard nitrous runs}I pulled the engine down to inspect it for other damage and give it a freshen up,since it had about 150 runs on it.I have a flat tappet crane cam with .620" lift and some pretty stout springs.When I disassembled the engine,I put all the lifters in a box and marked the box to keep the lifters in order.About half way thru all this work.I knocked the entire box off the shelf and all the lifters scattered on the floor like marbles,I threw them back inthe bax after looking them over for damage,and wiping the dog hair off of them{I had a big dog living in my shop for security reasons}.I reassembled the engine and threw the lifter back in random order,and put a little stp on the bottoms of them just in case.Well after another 300 rns,the cam still has lobes on it.I guess the sky wont fall in every time.

Release some HP and no problems with wiped cams,I have no problems finding roller lifters, you just need some extra cash, but well worth it.You can change cams and use the same lifters and some you don't even have to remove the intake to do so!
